Zinc gluconate supplement

Received next day following order placementObservations:This product is 10mg capsules of zinc gluconate. I personally did not experience any adverse effects and followed guidelines for cautions about food & drug interactions described on reputable medical websites. I would recommend when taking any supplement to speak with a pharmacist or a healthcare professional about your particular requirements.Pros:Capsules are easy to take compared to tablets and the dosage of 10mg is not excessive.After a few weeks of using, I could probably say I have more energy.Cons:I would like to see more information on the label about usage to obtain the optimum absorption for this supplement.This is an expensive price point for gluconate form of zinc.

Zinc Gluconate supplement

I take zinc regularly though usually in the form of zinc citrate which may be more easily absorbed than zinc gluconate. It appears that there may have been some changes in the guidelines for zinc consumption. I have been taking it regularly for decades without noticeable ill effects but it appears that they have reduced the suggested maximum dose from 50 mg to 40 mg and the suggested daily dose down to the 10 mg level of these pills. I will have to do some research and consult with my doctor. I had heard about the 40 mg level as an optimal dose. Apparently you should not take Zinc at the same time as vitamin C as they interfere with each other.These pills do seem a bit expensive compared to other zinc pills on the market. You do get 100 pills so this is about a three month supply.

Great supplement - perfect amount per single tablet in my case

Great supplement - although I recommend you take it with food if you have sensitive stomach. Otherwise you could experience nausea if taken on empty stomach.
