From my understanding of melatonin, it's good to take the lowest effective dose. I vary my dosage between 3, 5 and 9 mg.With these ones being 5mg, I've been experiementing with only taking one and it seems to be just as effective as taking three 3mg pills. I haven't tried just 3mg yet, but for now these 5mg capsules are right for me as they do help me fall asleep faster.These tablets are uncoated and small and generally they were easy to swallow and had no noticeble scent.I'm really happy that there are no fillers in this tablet. Or, if there are, there are none listed on the ingredient label and I believe they would need to be listed. It's the first melatonin supplement I've had that has only melatonin in it. I'm really trying to avoid as many fillers as possible so that makes this product a winner for me.I've had no digestive upset with these tablets and no sleep hangover in the morning either.When taking new supplements it's important to me that I feel safe taking them. This bottle has a Canadian NPN and that immediately makes me feel confident in this product that has been manufactured in Canada.Taking one tablet a day, this bottle will last me 30 days so the value is there for me for the price.

This bottle is huge, like the large vitamin bottles, just to hold a few very small pills. Such a waste. The melatonin seems to work, but I'll stick to my dual-release on s.

It's exactly as advertised.Something I can appreciate about this product, is unlike other melatonin I have used, it comes in small compact pills, there is no worries of card board or other bloat they throw into pills to make them seem bigger.It works just as well as any other melatonin.

Not a huge user of melatonin or sleeping pills but do use them a handful of times throughout the year to correct sleep schedule or aid in falling asleep during high stress times. These work very well and have tried them about 10 times now.It might just be me but I find these work way better than any other melatonin I have tried (15,20,30mg gummies). So well I have a hard time believing these are 5mg doses. For myself they work about the equivalent to taking a over the counter sleeping pill.Only side effect which is normal for melatonin I think is that I rarely have dreams but when I take one of these I always have crazy dreams.Overall they seem to work but the price is a little high compared to buying other brands at a store. If you can take advantage of amazons same day or next day delivery and these can arrive at your house and save you from having to make a special trip then they would be worth it.

There is no suggestion listed to take it with food. Based on the recommended dose this bottle should last 30 days. The bottle has a warning to not drive or use machinery for 5 hours after taking the melatonin and to consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks. The expiry date on the bottle I received is 2 year and 6 months from the date of delivery. There is no recommendation to refrigerate once opened but it is recommended to store in a cool and dry place. The tablets are average size so they're portable and easy to swallow with a glass of water. I noticed a slight chalky taste but nothing that lingers and no after taste or smell. I have taken the recommended dose as described and I have not experienced any adverse reactions. I have not woken up drowsy. I found that melatonin works best for me when I stick to a routine and I am consistent. I will likely order it again.
