We are a high volume consuming household when it comes to supplements and have tried the gamut of brands from drugstore to fancy Practitioner brands.Biogenique is a company I’ve come to trust, having tried a number of their products - This is the fourth I have tried - (their Lion's Mane, Reishi and MSM are also stellar - I have been super happy with the quality and potency of their products across the board.I love COQ10 - imo, it's an absolutely essential supplement - and several people in our house having been taking it for years with great results.Many of the options you find at the healthfood store offer 200mg versions - but personally i prefer a somewhat smaller dose of 100mg as i also take another formulation that features COQ10 .. (the smaller dose also means the capsules are small and easy to swallow!)I suffer from migraines and in my personal experience adding COQ10 to my daily regimen has made a noticeable difference.The myriad of other benefits it offers from antioxidant power to cardio support are a great benefit.A 180 count bottle for $50 at the time of this review, given it will last me about 60 months taking just one per day - it's an outstanding value, i believe.Speaking to the brand for a moment -My favourite little detail about Biogenique is that they’re a fairly small, family-run company = no huge corporate investors, = no selling out to the big guys - (and that’s probably why they’re able to put such a focus on quality, efficacy & sustainability...)There are new supplement vendors that appear to be popping up every week online - but judging by the quality and array of products I have been testing from Biogenique, I would say this is probably a brand that will have good longevity.Made in Canada, clean, quality, +The value is outstanding.

I'm not quite sure what to think of this Coenzyme Q10 supplement. On the one hand, it is made in Canada and 3rd party tested, so it should be the real deal. But then it touts superior absorption while also being the only formulation of CoQ10 I've seen that isn't dissolved in oil due to it being a fat soluble nutrient. It seems like a well made supplement by a decent company, but that one detail doesn't quite sit right with me. So I'm giving it a 4 star rating because I question the superior absorption claim.

The bottle is on the small side. The outer seal was difficult to remove. There was a secondary seal under the lid, which was easy to peel off. The capsules themselves appear to be fine and of good quality. They're orange in colour, they're not too big, they're easy to swallow and there's no weird smell or taste.The label seems pretty sparse with information, though, which doesn't instill confidence. Information that you find in the listing, like that this is vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free, etc. is absent. I did find a small corner on the label that says to peel, so I assumed that maybe that missing information would be found under it. It was difficult to peel and what first ended up coming off was a transparent layer. I peeled off nearly half of the second layer before stopping because I didn't see anything and I wanted the label to be able to stay glued to the bottle for information and safety purposes. I now have a corner of it that refuses to lay flat and adhere to the bottle, so it's good I didn't end up peeling off the full label. From what I could see, there doesn't seem to be additional information under the label and even if there is and I just didn't peel it back far enough, it's hardly useful or convenient to put it there because this leaves customers with the decision of losing the label or being able to read the most up-to-date and official information. I don't like this, particularly when there was enough space on the outside of the label to list a little more information. Perhaps when I get to the end of my bottle I'll peel it back all the way to check (if I remember), but for now, I prefer for my label to stay attached to its matching bottle and I shouldn't have to resort to taping it down to achieve this minimum standard.Other than that, I do like that this CoQ10 supplement is third-party tested, but I don't like that they don't disclose what third-party testing they did, so it's hard to put much stock in that.
